Our Mandated Programs

Omega Psi Phi Fraternity's Mandated Programs include initiatives such as Achievement Week, which recognizes community contributors; health initiatives like the Charles Drew Blood Drive; and efforts for member retention and reclamation. The fraternity promotes academic excellence through scholarships, STEM initiatives, and the Talent Hunt Program. Additionally, they engage in social action, voter registration, and fatherhood mentoring, while supporting historically black colleges with annual donations. Members also uphold commitments to the NAACP and honor deceased members with an annual memorial service.

Achievement Week

Observed each November and is designed to recognize those individuals at the local and international levels who have contributed to community uplift.

College Endowment Fund

Promotes academic excellence among the undergraduate members. Graduate chapters provide financial assistance to student members and non-members.

Fatherhood & Mentoring

Every level of the Fraternity is asked to play an active role in support of the partnership by actively engaging in the promotion of the Fraternity’s Fatherhood Mentoring initiative.

Health Initiatives

Our chapter facilitates, participates and coordinates various activities that promote good health practices. Our annual blood drive is one such activity.

Memorial Service

March 12th of each year chapters conduct an appropriate service to recall the memory of those members who have entered into Omega Chapter.

NAACP

Every district and chapter of the fraternity is required to maintain a Life Membership at Large in the NAACP. All members of the fraternity are encouraged to join the NAACP.

Reclamation & Retention

A concerted effort at the international, district and local levels to retain active brothers and return inactive brothers to full participatory status.

Scholarship

Promotes academic excellence among the undergraduate members. Graduate chapters provide financial assistance to student members and non-members.

Social Action

Our Chapter participates in activities that will uplift our community such as voter registration, mentoring, and participation in fundraisers for charitable organizations.

STEM

The Fraternity’s STEM initiatives are designed to get students across the world excited about science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).

Talent Hunt Program

We provide exposure, encouragement and financial assistance such as college scholarships to talented young people participating in the performing arts.

Voter Registration, Education & Mobilization

Chapters facilitate and participate in activities that uplift their communities through the power of the vote.
